Yes, i do believe that the little things we do counts. But this belief, sadly, is shared by the minority. There was once, after watching the movie called 'march of the penguins', i suddenly had this burst of urge to save on the use of electricity in my house. I diligently shut off appliances, lights and etc. (anything which generates electric basically..) little did i know, and would have thought, my family was annoyed with my constant shutting of appliances and switches around the house. They were complaining and nagging about my sudden behavior. They kept saying that by doing what i do, it does little benefit to the penguins in the north pole and so on. After a while, patience wore off, with no supporters, i turned back to my old self. But till now, i'm still a firm believer that little things we do, helps. Tho, i have no platform to practice that belief..

Changing other's mindset and getting them to join the co-effort of saving the Earth is a task warrants patience and time.
We need to admit the probability of the effort ends up in futile is high. However, standing firm on our own belief is the fundamental before others are convinced, and become part of our team.
Something to be pondered: How dare we are to be different (being considered as odd) for the sake of truth and facts?
How many of us will just on the fans instead of air-conditioners, at public places where the electric bill is none of our concern? And being teased by those showing minor concern on environmental issues?
How many of us will take away food using containers that needs to be cleaned later?
How many of us will sincerely help out at recycling centers with all sorts of trash, instead of joining friends for fun?
In sum, all these what others consider as "weird" actions are highly needed nowadays. And the challenge for individuals will be "DARE TO BE ODD for SAKE OF TRUTH and SUSTAINABILITY"!
1 more person in the pro-environment group means 1 less person in the harm-creating group, as align as the theme of STEP project, "Save the Environment, 1 People at a Time!"
We will not be the odd one out, despite of all odds and challenges we are facing, as more "odd" people are going to join us, and we are less likely to be "odd".
We are a group of youths that wish to make a change the society. We educate environmental issues and facts through Youth Interactive Programme and Conferences.
